Due Diligence

Environmental Due Diligence

Acquisitions, mergers, selling, and expanding operations bring a host of environmental risks and liabilities. Mitigate those risks with Dragun’s successful process of critical analysis, innovative solutions coupled with regulatory insight.

Environmental due diligence is all about identifying and managing risks and exposures related to property acquisition or divestitures, which is key to maintaining and preserving the value of your investment . Getting the best information lets you make informed decisions and limit liability. And it prevents a little headache from becoming a migraine later.

In-depth Phase I and Phase II assessments

Unlike other companies that regard due diligence as a task for the junior associates, at Dragun we put to work the full strength of our multi-disciplined team including Master’s- and PhD-level scientists and engineers where necessary to ensure that you receive the most reliable results. We objectively quantify the risk; we then put the risk into perspective based on your criteria, risk tolerance, and business objectives.

Dragun follows the US Environmental Protection Agency Standards and Practices for All Appropriate Inquiries {(AAI), 40 CFR Part 312} and guidelines established by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) in the Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process / Designation E 1527

In plain English, in the Phase I, we gather the necessary information from the site to develop an accurate picture of the site conditions, along with the conditions of neighboring sites that can have a negative effect on your property.

If we find something suspect, we don’t blindly jump to a Phase II ESA. We design a Phase II that effectively helps you achieve your goals; we don’t collect data for data sake.

For the Phase II, Dragun adheres to the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard for
