Dragun Corporation is pleased to announce that Fatemeh Vakili, Ph.D., has joined the company as a hydrogeologist. Dr. Vakili is a recent graduate of the University of Waterloo where she earned a Masters and Ph.D. in Contaminant Hydrogeology with a focus on environmental isotopes.

Jeffrey Bolin, Partner and Senior Vice President of Technical Operations at Dragun said, “We are excited to have Dr. Vakili join our staff. She will also work closely with one of the premier hydrogeologists in North America, Dr. Michael Sklash. Fatemeh will assist Mike on projects involving fate and transport of chemicals in the environment, including environmental isotope projects.”

Jeff went on to say, “We were fortunate to work with Fatemeh previously, as she was an isotope analyst at a lab that supported us on several environmental isotope projects in the past.”

Addressing Dragun’s position in the “marketplace,” Jeff said, “Our clients have come to expect that Dragun can, and will, help them with complicated issues involving groundwater contamination. With the addition of Fatemeh, we are excited as we continue to build our growing team of environmental experts that are not only excellent technically, but have a client-centric focus.”
